Toyota fuel cell upcoming car 2015

At a press conference held in Tokyo, Toyota has confirmed its intention to mass produce the FCV modelunveiled at Tokyo. Recall that the FCV concept car was powered by an engine with a fuel cell powered by hydrogen. This mode of propulsion allows the car a range of action much larger than an electric vehicle.Hydrogen is stored in two pressurized tanks, which are filled in less than 3 minutes. It is converted into electricity by the power of the fuel cell of about 100 kW, or 136 hp . Autonomy announced is 500 km.
Confirming that FCV well become a production model, Toyota took the opportunity to unveil the external lines and the price in Japan of its sedan fuel cell (PAC) hydrogen. Japan will be launched by April 2015 at the rate of about 7,000,000 yen (excluding VAT) or about € 50,000 excluding VAT . At first, sales will be limited to régionsoù the hydrogen refueling infrastructure is under development. Concerning Europe and the United States, preparations are underway for the launch in the summer of 2015 , but details of Specifications, prices and sales targets will be communicated later.
 
Recall that currently the French territory is poorly equipped hydrogen refueling points. There are just over 10 stations in the territory, most of which are intended for private / industrial use. Air Liquide has opened two stations in Versailles and Current Grenoble 2013. French brand has a real expertise in contributing to the development of more than 100 service stations in Germany. To imagine such a development in France, Air Liquide confessed that this can not be done without a real political intent and involvement of leaders on the choice of alternative energies. The cost of a station is currently about 1 million euros.
